But just to give you an idea of what to expect, here are some pointers. You will need to write out a lit of ingredients. There are eight of them. To will need to add salt to each, and the Parmesan. Most often you will see a sprinkle of nutmeg. Some tools are out of your control. like the microwaving equipment.

And you need to keep all of your ingredients clean, so read the recipe instructions and always know how long it takes to cook a batch. The exception: The oil for the Italian style water nuggets. These will cook the fastest.

Everything is covered up outside of the oil in the pan.

Unless of course you want some nuggets hot and spiced. Bring them up in the oven on the lower rack, cooking at 250 degrees, then lower and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Taste the nuggets to make sure they have enough salt. Let the cool .

  • 5-6 potatoes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 bread slices
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Chat masala (optional)
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • oil for frying

Wash and rinse the potatoes and boil for 20 minutes until soft over a medium heat.

Peel off the potatoes and place in a large mixing bowl and mash with the help of a fork or a potato masher.

Place milk in a deep plate and dip the slices of bread in the milk one by one and add them in the mashed potatoes and mix till well incorporated.

Now sprinkle garlic powder, salt, black pepper, red chili powder and chat masala and combine well. Scoop out the potato balls and make them into a pattie shape.

In a medium bowl, add all purpose flour and water and mix well to make a smooth paste and set aside.

In another deep bowl/plate, place the bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Coat potato nugget in the all-purpose flour paste and then with the bread crumbs and place them in the frying pan and cook both side by flipping for about 2-3 minutes each side. (or you can bake then at 125 degrees for 15 minutes ).

Remove from oven and place them on the kitchen towel to drain off the excess oil.

Serve and enjoy!
