A one bowl Chocolate Biscuit cake recipe that is quick, easy and always delicious!
Chocolate Biscuit Cake
When you feel like having the best chocolate cake, try this recipe!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 2 tbsp natural cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 pack Marie Biscuits (200g)
Directions
STEP 1
Grease a tray or a bowl by lining a plastic sheet inside and set aside.
STEP 2
Add a little water in a cup and add cornflour and make a smooth paste and set aside.
STEP 3
Heat butter in a pan over a low to medium heat.
STEP 4
When the butter melts, gradually add condensed milk and stir continuously till well incorporated.
STEP 5
Add cocoa powder, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
STEP 6
Add the cornflour mixture and stir till it becomes thick over a low heat.
STEP 7
Remove from heat and set aside to cool for 20 minutes.
STEP 8
Place Marie biscuits in a sandwich bag and crush them into chinks with a rolling pin.
STEP 9
Fold the crushed Marie biscuits in the chocolate mixture and combine well and level up the surface and chill for at least 2 hours.
STEP 10
Cut the cake into squares and serve and enjoy!
Notes
You can make chocolate ganache if you like to add a topping.
