Mince Meat Spaghetti|Spaghetti

We all love spaghetti. Right?

Mince Meat Spaghetti

This is a perfect week night meal. Dinner will be ready in 30 minutes!
This should make for filling a meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp black seed
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder, roasted
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 kg mince meat
  • 1/2 cup peas and carrots, frozen (optional)
  • 1 capsicum, julienne (optional)
  • 1 packet spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

STEP 1
Heat oil in a pan over a medium heat and add garlic and stir for 30 seconds.

STEP 2
Add the onion and cook till translucent. Add the ginger and garlic paste and cook till well combined.

STEP 3
Add the tomatoes and stir occasionally till tomatoes get softer and add salt, red chili powder, black pepper, black seed, cumin powder, turmeric and mix well.

STEP 4
Add the tomato paste along with the Worcestershire sauce, soya sauce, apple cider vinegar and stir well.

STEP 5
Add the mince meat and cook till it changes its color for 2 minutes over a high heat. (If you like to add the vegetables you can add peas, carrots and mix) and reduce the heat to medium and cover and cook for 20 minutes. (Add capsicum in the end and combine well).

STEP 6
In the meanwhile, place the spaghetti in a large saucepan and cover with boiling water. Cook according to packet instructions. Drain spaghetti and set aside.

STEP 7
Once the mince meat is ready, add the spaghetti in the mince meat and combine well.

STEP 8
Cook until spaghetti is tender and the sauce is thickened.

STEP 9
Gently stir in the chili garlic sauce and remove from heat.

STEP 10
Season with a little more pepper and lemon and serve hot.
