As you all might know, I’m fascinated by International food and try to learn, cook and eat different foods as often as I can. Sometimes, I stick to the traditional meal, sometimes I add my own touch.
Tawa Qeema

I used some mince meat, onions, ginger, garlic, red hot chili, tomato paste to make this meal. Quite a hearty delicious meal.⠀

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 green chilies
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp crushed chili flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black seed
- 1 tsp crushed coriander
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 kg mince meat, beef/mutton
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 piece ginger
- 2 tbsp coriander, fresh
Directions
STEP 1
Add oil in a tawa/griddle/large frying g pan and heat oil over a medium heat.
STEP 2
Add ginger and garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute. Add cumin and green chili and stir well.
STEP 3
Add the chopped onion and cook till it changes its color to brown.
STEP 4
Finally add the mince meat and tomatoes and cook well till it changes its color.
STEP 5
Stir in red chili powder, salt, turmeric, red chili flakes, black seed, crushed coriander, black pepper and cook for 20 minutes over a medium heat, stirring occasionally.
STEP 6
Add lemon and butter in the end and cook well.
STEP 7
Remove from heat and garnish with ginger and chopped fresh coriander and serve hot with roti/flat bread or nan and enjoy!
