18 Apr Beef/Mutton Haleem
in a lage mixing bowl, add dal chana, dal moong, dal masoor,and mix them well.
Add water in the bowl and soak for three to four hours or for ovenight.
Boil lentils in 2 cups water separately.
Boil soaked wheat /barley seoarately.
Add oil in a meat and add 8-10 cloves of garlic and cook till golden.
Add salt, black pepper, turmeric, black seed, 3-4 onions, 3-4 tomatoes, cumin, coriander, and add 2 glasses of water. and pressure cook for 20 minutes.
Dry water and dont stir.
Add the boiled lentils and cook
Add the boiled and chopped rice and mix
Now add the boiled wheat/barley and cook and stir gradually.
Dont add altogether.
Add 1 cup water and mix well and cook.
Check the salt and red chilies
Add home made garam masala mixed in water.
When the bubbles starts appearing, put a meat spoon inside and cook till 2 hours on a medium heat.
add 2-3 sliced onions in oil and cook till brown
put in the haleem along with lemon, ginger and fresh coriander and serve.
