Lentils
Ingredients
8-10 onions
50 g ginger and garlic paste
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup water
2-3 green chilies
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
6 chopped tomatoes
8 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon paprika powder
1/2 cup lentils (mixed)
Directions
Soak lentils in a bowl for an hour or overnight.
Curry Sauce
Mix onions. ginger and garlic paste. water, salt, chopped tomatoes, oil, turmeric and paprika powder well inj a pan.
Now add oil in it and boil well.
Once its done, add the soaked lentils, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garam masala, cumin seeds and green chilies and cook on a low heat for 20 minutes.
Now, its ready to be served with rice or flat bread.
