How To Make Chocolate/home-made chocolate
Ingredients
- 2 cups Cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 2/3 cup milk powder
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
Directions
STEP 1
First of all, sieve the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl,
- cocoa powder
- all-purpose flour
- milk powder
- icing sugar
STEP 2
In a double boiler or a glass bowl on top of a small pan with some water in it, melt butter over medium heat. Grating the butter will help it melt faster. Use the metal whisk to stir it frequently as it melts.
STEP 3
Now, put the dry ingredients gradually in a bowl, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. When the mixture melt and starts to take a glossy appearance, remove from heat and allow it to cool.
STEP 4
Pour the chocolate in the molds and refrigerate for 6 hours.(or pour to a baking sheet with natural parchment paper to harden at room temperature).
STEP 5
Remove from molds and ENJOY!
Notes
- You can use crushed nuts in the chocolate as additional ingredients.
- You can use honey and maple syrup other than icing sugar.
- Don’t use wooden utensils to make chocolate because the wood contains moisture which can leach into the chocolate.
