1/2cup chana dal
1/2 cup moong dal
1/2 cup masoor dal
1/2 cup mash dal
2 1/2 cup whole wheat
Soak them in water for overnight
In a pressure cook add dal chana, dal moong, dal masoor, dal mash and wheat grains and mix them well.
Add 1.5 litre water in the pressure cooker and 1 tablspoon turmeric and pressure cook for 40 minutes on medium heat.
marinate 2 large chicken (1000g) with 1 large sliced onion, 1 cup yogurt, garam masala(blend 3 tablspoon cumin, 2 tablspoon coriander, 2 tablspoon black peppercorns, 10 cardamom, 2-3 black cardamom, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon red chilies, 2 teaspoon salt.
Marinate for 30 minutes.
Add the marnated chicken in oil and cook till the yogurt and water dries out and oil is seoarated.
Add 1 litre water and pressure cook for 15 minutes.
Blend the lentils.
Shred the cooked chicken or chop with a fork.
Add the shredded chicken, remaining chicken curry in the blended lentils mixture and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Add garam masala and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Heat the oil and add sliced onions and fry them.
Chat masala, ginger, green chilie, lemon, fried onions and fresh green coriander.
