18 Apr Bhujjia(potatoes)
Peel and cut 4 potatoes.
Slice 2 onions .
Heat 2 tablespoon oil and add 1/2 teaspoon cumin, bay leaf and allow it to splutter.
Add onions and p[potatoes and saute for 3-4 minutes.
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon turmeric and mix well.
Cover and cook for 6 minutes on low heat and stir gradually.
When potatoes are half done, add 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds and cover and cook for few minutes on a low to medium heat.
When potatoes are almost ready, add 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes and mix.
Cook till potatoes becomes soft.
Garnish with fresh coriander.
Serve hot with poori or roti.
Dont add water while cooking.
