17 Apr Chicken Haleem
1/2cup chana dal
1/2 cup moong dal
1/2 cup masoor dal
1 1/2 cup whole wheat
2teaspoon dry corinader
1 teaspoon tirmeric
3 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1teaspoon chat masala
2 teaspoon all spices powderginger and green chilies
1 cup oil
1 kg chicken
1 fried onion
julienne cut ginger
2-3 green chilies
in a lage mixing bowl, add dal chana, dal moong, dal masoor, n wheat grains and mix them well.
Add water in the bowl and soak for three to four hours or for ovenight.
heat a pan and add salt, dry corinader, turmeric, chat masala, all spice powderand mix well and add oil.
YOu can now pour water in the pan snd add chickenall the above dal(pulses) and wheat with the masala and let it cook for 4 to 6 hours.
Stir it gradually.
After it is being cooked well, put aside to allow it to cool and blen it well.
HEaat the pan and add onions and cook till they turn to brown.
.NOw garnnish the haleem with frezh coriander leves, fried onion, ginger and green chilies.
SPrinkle the chat masal on top snd serve hot with nan.
